Cursor Pilot

Privacy Policy

We do not collect personal data

Effective date:

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how the macOS application Cursor Pilot (“the app”) handles information. The short version: the app is designed to work entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or share personal data.

2. What we do not collect

When you use the app, we do not collect:

  • Personal identifiers (e.g., name, email, address, device identifiers)
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Location data
  • Contact, photo, file, clipboard, or calendar data
  • Advertising identifiers or behavioral tracking

3. What we may process

While the app itself does not collect data, limited information may be processed in the following situations:

  • Purchases via Apple. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. We may access anonymized transaction metadata (e.g., product identifier, transaction status) solely to unlock features you bought.
  • Support emails you send us. If you email us, we will process your email address and the content of your message to respond and provide support. We do not sell or share these messages and keep them only as long as necessary (see Retention).
  • Crash diagnostics (optional). If you’ve opted in within Apple settings to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash logs. We use them only to improve stability and performance.

4. On-device permissions & processing

The app’s core function is to move your mouse cursor to the center of a selected display using keyboard shortcuts. To do this on macOS, the app requests the standard Accessibility permission (“Allow the app to control your computer”).

  • This permission enables cursor repositioning and global hotkeys.
  • All actions occur locally on your Mac; no keystrokes or cursor data are transmitted off device.
  • You can revoke this permission at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.

5. Cookies & tracking

The app does not use cookies, fingerprinting, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers. This website page also avoids third-party scripts.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data.

7. Data retention

Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to handle your request and for limited legal or operational requirements, then deleted. Anonymous crash logs received from Apple may be kept to analyze and address stability issues.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we process (primarily limited to support emails), or to object to or restrict certain processing.

  • EEA/UK. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not “sell” or “share” personal information. Over the past 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information. If you contact us, categories processed may include basic identifiers (your email and message) strictly for support.

To exercise rights, email feedback@evermaker.life. We will verify and respond as required by law.

9. International transfers

If you email us, your message may be processed in the country where we (the developer) are located or where our email service operates. We use reputable providers and apply appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL, with the effective date at the top.
